So, we're getting ready for PASARBA! PASARBA is the Pensylvania State ARBA rabbit show, and we will be going to it next weekend. We're definitely bringing Apfel and 4 of Houdini's babies, and we may bring Cheese and Luna, depending on how we feel. We will have 3 babies for sale; 1 buck, and 2 does. We haven't decided which of the 3 does we'll keep, but after the first show we may have decided. Please e-mail me if you're interested in buying a baby! Thanks!

So, we just got back from the DelMarVa rabbit show, which we did pretty good at. :) Here are the results of all 3 shows:

DelMarVa Open Show A:
FGB4 (Houdini)- 4th out of 10 Sr. Light Gray Does
AB (Apfel)- 2nd out of 10 Sr. Light Gray Does
LG116 (Luna)-
1st out of 10 Sr. Light Gray Does; Best of Variety (Out of about 30 Light Grays)

DelMarVa Open Show B:
FGB4 (Houdini)- 6th out of 10 Sr. Light Gray Does
AB (Apfel)- 3rd out of 10 Sr. Light Gray Does
LG116 (Luna)- 2nd out of 10 Sr. Light Gray Does

Eastern States Flemish Giant Specialty Show:
FGB4 (Houdini)- 3rd out of 10 Sr. Light Gray Does
AB (Apfel)-
1st out of 10 Sr. Light Gray Does; Best of Variety (Out of about 30 Light Grays)
LG116 (Luna)- 2nd out of 10 Sr. Light Gray Does

All three of the girls did fairly well, considering that there were over 100 Flemish Giants there. Apfel happily posed with her trophy that she won for best light gray in the Eastern States Flemish Giant Specialty Show. :) Also, my friends Cassie and Richie did great. My friend Cassie has a large light gray buck names Ruben (Also known as Rascal when he lived here, he is Apfel's brother and Houdini's little brother.) and he got some great comments at the show table. Richie showed his beautiful mini Rex and got Best in Show with his little Otter-colored doe in the youth section for show A, and he got best of breed with his Chinchilla colored doe in the youth section show B!

In other news, Houdini and Luna are expecting babies in a month! Please send me a message if you're interested in buying one of the babies, as they will probably go fast! :)

Attention! We will NOT be at the state fair due to the Hurricane! For the safety of the bunnies and myself, we'll be staying home.

We just got back from the PASARBA show in PA last weekend. :) We had a great time with all of our friends. We did ok in the shows. Houdini was blowing her coat sadly, so she was unable to do as good as usual. :( We did sell Mac at the show to a loving family, where he will be well taken care of. We also bought a rabbit from the Iberia Rabbitry, and her name is Luna. She is a  real sweet and pretty rabbit, and I am so happy to have her. :)

Well, that's the only update I have for now. Bye!

Congrats to Twilight and Cheese! Twilight has had 4 beautiful little babies. She had them on September 8th, 2010, and they are all either Steel or Light gray. I already have some people who are interested, so if you are interested in buying one, please send me an E-mail ASAP!

We also showed at the Maryland State fair. Here are the results:

A White New Zealand took BIS (Best in Show), but Lilly got second! The judges loved her, and she was very calm, so she didn't get too stressed out. I also got to meet the DEAN OF AGRICULTURE! I talked to him a little and he got to see Lilly. He was a very nice person, and it was a pleasure to meet him. :3

Well, that is all the news I have for now. Remember, if you would like to buy one of Twilight's babies, you MUST E-mail me ASAP! Thank you!

Hello again! I just got back from the Baltimore Howard rabbit show. We did ok, but not excelent. We showed Lilly and Twiling for the first time since November, and they did really good! Here are the results below:

Light gray Junior Bucks:
FGBI (Ringo Starr) - 2nd out of 4
FGB2 (Pete Townsend) - placed 3rd out of 4

Light gray Junior Does:
FGB3 (Sweet Pea) - Placed 5th out of 5
FGB4 (Houdini) - placed 4th out of 5

Steel Senior Does:
LB (Lilly) - BOV (Best of variety)

Black Senior Does:
TB (Twilight) - BOV (Best of Variety)

The Juniors just had a bad day and couldn't beat the competition. (Then again, the competition was REALLY good.) The Seniors, on the other hand, had a great day! Both of the sisters got BOV (Best Of Variety). Some more good news is that Flopsy will now be for sale. Her tooth has compleatly healed, and she is looking for a good home!!!

I was looking around my house, and I happened to find something. My old SD card! On that card, I have so many bunnie pictures, including two videos. One video is of Smudge and her babies. The other one is very important to me, and that is a video of Lulu, two days before she passed away...

Below I will have some of the pics I took at the show, along with some of the ones on my old SD card. Feel free to look at them when I post them!

I just got back about an 2 hours ago from the Wills fair. We did really good, and we had a lot of fun talking to all of he other rabbit breeders. Below are the results:

Light gray Junior Bucks:
FGBI (Ringo Starr) - 1st out of 2
FGB2 (Pete Townsend) - placed 2nd out of 2

Light gray Junior Does:
FGB3 (Sweet Pea) - Placed 2nd out of 5
FGB4 (Houdini) - placed 1st out of 5

Light gray Senior Bucks:
Cheese (Cheese) - placed 1st out of 4,
BOV(Best of variety), BOS (Best opposite sex)

It was nice to have some good luck at this show since we didn't do as well at the Gaithersburg show. Mr. Cheese did really well, winning Best of Variety and Best Opposite Sex. The only rabbit that beat him was a big sandy Flemish giant Doe, whe went on to win Best Opposite Show. While we were there, we looked around at the other animals, like the ducks, chickens, cows, goats, sheep, and even dogs. ^-^

My friend did the best, winning BIS (Best in show) and 2nd Reserve! The rabbit that won Best In Show was a little Otter Mini Rex Buck named Opie, and the rabbit that won 2nd reserve was a little Red New Zealend. The rabbit that won BOS (Best opposite show) was a big Sandy Flemish Giant Doe owned by another one of my friends. ^-^

Now we have one more rabbit show coming up on the 22nd of May, which is the Baltimore Howard show. After that, we'll have a little break from rabbit shows. We are really trying to sell rabbits, so if you think you might be interested in owning a Big Friendly Giant, please comment or send me an E-mail! You could even meet us at the rabbit show to pick one up or look at the ones for sale.

I've got to go now! Please feel free to look at the pictures below or comment. ^-^

Ok, so I just got back today form the Gaithersburg rabbit show, and we did ok. It was a 2 part, all day show. Here are the results:

Show 1 :
FGB1 (Ringo starr) - Placed 3rd out of 5
FGB2 (Pete Townsend) - placed 5th out of 5
FGB3 (Sweet Pea) - placed 8th out of 11
FGB4 (Houdini) - placed 6th out of 11
FGB5 (Flopsy) - DQ ( Chipped tooth)

Show 2:
FGBI (Ringo Starr) - 1st out of 5
FGB2 (Pete Townsend) - placed 4th out of 5
FGB3 (Sweet Pea) - 8th out of 10
FGB4 (Houdini) - placed 5th out of 10
Cheese (Cheese) - placed 3rd out of 5
MB (Mouse) - Placed 2nd out of 5

So we did about average at the rabbit show this weekend. The first judge found out that Flopsy has a chipped tooth from chewing on the wire of her cage. We are going to keep her home for the next 2 shows so she has time to recover. The tooth should grow back, and then we'll be able to begin showing her again. Below are some picture at the show. Well, now we have to start getting ready for next weeks show! I'll write again soon!

For the next couple weekends, we will be going to several different rabbit shows. On May 8th we will be going to the Gaithersburg rabbit show. Then on May 15th we will be going to the Will's fair. Finally, we will be going to the Baltimore and Howard rabbit show on May 22nd. We will probably be bringing Mac, Cheese, Sweet pea, Ringo, Pete, Houdini, and Flopsy. All of the rabbit's were bringing will be for sale except Cheese and Sweet pea, so if you are interested you will be able to see us at the shows. :)

I can't wait because it will be the babies first show! I really hope that Sweet Pea and Pete do good. They were my favorites of the litter, and both of them have nice heads and bodies.

On a sad note, Checkers passed away. She was about 4 years old and died a week after her birthday...

Well, thats about all I have for now. If you would like to comment, please feel free to!  ^_^
